Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded by the balance bar. In the end, she was the very first American at the Olympics who had the most amount of medals. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning gold in the team event, earning Gabby as well as Gabby the distinction as the first Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. Additionally, she won silver in individual all around as well as for floor exercise. Between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. She also was part of gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began at the age of two and her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly donates towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother.
